Content - How to use Basic Content CMS

SKU Ninja makes it quick and easy to update the basic content on your existing retailer product detail pages (PDPs). Following are the instructions for updating your content.

NOTE: Once you submit content changes, it may take up to 48 business hours for Walmart to publish your changes to the product detail page.

Updating Title, Description, Key Features and Attributes

1. Login to SKU Ninja.
2. Go to > Content > Basic Content CMS.
3. Click on the title of the item you would like to update.
4. Select the Category for your item(s).
5. Select the field you would like to update (Title, Key Features, or Description).
6. Within each field, delete the copy you would like to replace and type in the new copy.
7. If you prefer to copy text from another source, please follow these instructions to ensure that your copy is formatted correctly, to minimize publication errors:
   
   
   • Ensure that the selected field is clear of all formatting, by selecting the field and using one of the following commands: (MAC: cmd + a and then hitting the delete key) or (WINDOWS: ctrl + a and then hitting the backspace key).
   • Select the source you would like to copy from and select the field you would like to edit in the SKU Ninja Basic Content editor. 
   • Paste values only, to avoid carrying over the original formatting, but using one of the following commands: (MAC: cmd + shift + v) or (WINDOWS: ctrl + shift + v).
   • If you choose to copy/paste into the selected field all at once, you may need to adjust the paragraph spacing within the Basic Content editor.
     
     
8. Preview your changes (and make any necessary adjustments).
9. Select View Product Page to see the live page at any time while you are making changes.
10. If ready, Save your changes.
11. If ready, Submit your changes.

Updating Images

1. Select the image(s) you would like to upload.
   
2. Upload and Save Changes.
3. Drag and Drop your images to submit to change the order.
4. Preview your changes (and make any necessary adjustments).
5. Select View Product Page to see the live page at any time while you are making changes.
   1. You may easily remove an image before submitting it for publication, by clicking on the "Delete" text on each image.
6. If ready, Save your changes (to avoid losing any work - once you save you cannot "undo").
7. If ready, Submit your changes (or you may submit the change for publication at a later time if you prefer to do so). 
   • Please note that the submitted image order is not guaranteed.

Updating Supplier Attributes

1. If you have not already selected the Category for your item(s), please do so before updating your images.
2. Select the attributes you would like to update. 
3. Preview your changes (and make any necessary adjustments).
4. Select View Product Page to see the live page at any time while you are making changes.
5. If ready, Save your changes (to avoid losing any work - once you save you cannot "undo").
6. If ready, Submit your changes (or you may submit the changes for publication at a later time if you prefer to do so).
